It was great to join everyone at Wednesbury Community Association as they celebrated the grant they've received from the Mayor's Community Fund.

Fantastic to attend the charity bingo night at the Lounge Bar in Great Bridge.

Raising money for a fantastic West Mids Charity Acorns Children's Hospice and having a good time in the process!

WOOD GREEN ACADEMY UPDATE

ALL YEAR GROUPS BACK ON MONDAY

Today the Minister for Schools Nick Gibb joined me and local Wednesbury Councillor Cllr Scott Chapman as we met with the team at Wood Green Academy to discuss RAAC.

Today I raised the issue of RAAC concrete and the disruption it is causing to Wood Green Academy to Government Ministers in the House of Commons.

First day back today and lots to get on and do and, of course... standard first day back photo!

It was great to go back to where it all started for me and speak to friends and many people I consider as family at Telford and Wrekin Conservatives today.

** CHARIOT FESTIVAL**

It was an honour to join friends at our amazing Balaji Temple for the annual Chariot Festival.

Happening alongside the festival in India, it enables those who can't get out of the house to worship to have worship brought to them.

BLACK COUNTRY LIVING MUSEUM

The Black Country Museum is a fantastic venue that brings our proud industrial heritage back to life.

Thank you to the team for showing me the latest editions to the museum as they take our story into the 1960s.

COFFEE & CATCH UP

I held a coffee afternoon today at Jubilee Park Community Centre which was well attended by local residents.

Meeting constituents is the best part of my job, so stay tuned for future coffee mornings across the patch.
